ASN-206 multiple purpose Unmanned Air Vehicle(UAV) is developed by Xi`an ASN technology group company, which`s design work was completed in Dec 1994. The western specialist said that the ASN-206 was developed with the help of Israel Tadiran Ltd. The ASN-206 is one of the most modern UAV of PLA, especially the real-time video reconnaissance system which provides PLA a good way to proceed frontline reconnaissance. In 1996 the UAV got the 1st class reward of national technology improvements. In 1996 the ASN-206 attended the Zhuhai airshow and began its batch production.

ASN-206多用途无人驾驶飞机是由西北工业大学西安爱生技术集团研制的。该机于1994年12月完成研制工作。西方传闻该机是在以色列Tadiran公司的技术支持下研制的。ASN-206是我军较为先进的一种无人机,尤其是它的实时视频侦察系统,为我军前线侦察提供了一种利器。1996年该机获国家科技进步一等奖。1996年在珠海国际航展上展出,现已投入批量生产。

The whole system of ASN-206 is integrity and the function of it is complete. The design is made to fit the battle field situations. The system contains 6 to 10 UAVs, and 1 ground station. The station includes the command vehicle, the mobile control vehicle, the launching vehicle, the eletic power vehicle, the intelligence proceeding vehicle, the maintan vehicle and the transportation vehicle. The UAV can proceed kinds of missions: Day/Night Aerial Reconnaissance, Battlefield Surveillance, Target Positioning, Artillery Correction, Nuclear Radiation Probe & Sample, Traffic Monitoring, Disaster Survey, etc.

ASN-206系统配套完整,功能较为齐全,设计考虑了野外条件。全系统包括6~10架飞机和1套地面站。地面站由指挥控制车、机动控制车、发射车、电源车、情报处理车、维修车和运输车等组成。该机在军事上可用于昼夜空中侦察、战场监视、侦察目标定位、校正火炮射击、战场毁伤评估、边境巡逻。民用用途包括航空摄影、地球物理探矿、灾情监测、海岸缉私等民用领域。

The UAV used a tail-pushed, twin tail braced design. The advantage of this style is that the aurscrew driven by the tail-settled engine would not disturb the sight of the reconnaissance system. A HS-700 piston engine is settled in the back of the fuselage, 37.3kw. The cruising time is about 4 to 8 hours, voyage 150km.

该无人机采用后推式双尾撑结构形式。这一布局的好处是由于后置发动机驱动的螺旋桨不会遮挡侦察装置的视线。机身后部、尾撑之间装有1台HS-700型四缸二冲程活塞式发动机,功率为37.3千瓦。巡航时间为4~8小时,航程150千米。

The reconnaissance system of ASN-206 is contained of vetical camera, panoramic camera, Infrared sensor, TV camera, positioning and artillery correction system, etc. The more important, ASN-206 is equiped with digital aircraft control and management system, intergrade radio system and advanced mission control system. With their help, ASN-206 can proceed its mission 150km away from the ground station, day or night. THe reconnaissance data, especially the video from the white light/infrared cameras can be sent to the ground station in real time. The artillery correction system can position the ground target and correct the artillery power in real time, too.

ASN-206的侦察监视设备包括垂直相机和全景相机、红外探测设备、电视摄像机,定位校射设备等。更重要的是,ASN-206装有数字式飞机控制与管理系统、综合无线电系统、先进任务控制设备,借助上述系统,ASN-206可以在150千米远纵深范围内昼夜执行作战任务。侦察情报信息,尤其是白光/红外摄影机拍到的视频影像可以实时传输至地面站(下图),进行观察和监视。定位较射系统能实时的指标地面目标的坐标和校正火炮射击。

The UAV`s taking off is helped by the accessorial rocket, and the callback would depend on the parachute. The ASN-206 can be reused for times and does not need a prepared runway.

该机利用固体火箭助推起飞,零长发射,伞降回收,可多次使用,不需要专用起降跑道。

The ASN-206 joioned the Turkish government UAV competition. The Turkish National Defence Agency is planning for 10 large voyage UAVs and 8 short voyage UAVs. Three companys attend the bid. The other two are the Israel IAI Ltd, which provides "Seacher" and "Hunter" UAVs. And the General Atomic Aviation Ltd provides "Predator", I-GNAT and Wanderer II . Now I-GNAT is kicked off and situation is not clear now.

ASN-206参与了土耳其近程无人机计划的竞争。土国防部计划购买10套远程和8套近程无人机系统。有3家公司参与了土耳购买无人机计划的投标。其余两间公司是以色列飞机工业有限公司,提供了“搜索者”和“猎人” 无人机,美国加州圣迭戈的通用原子航空系统公司提供了“捕食者”、I-GNAT、和“徘徊者”Ⅱ三种无人机。按计划I-GNAT无人机已经出局。目前还不清楚此计划竞争的结局。

ASN-206当然与“全球鹰”不在一个级别上。因此,1997年~2001年我国空军科研人员综合运用现代高新技术,研制成功某型无人机,使我国大型无人机总体性能、技术走在世界前列。
